The path to wholeness begins with one step...

Shamanism is an ancient practice that connects us with the energy of all things and the deeper parts of ourselves. In my approach, known as therapeutic shamanism, these practices are blended with a contemporary, therapeutic framework to provide safe, structured support.


Through relaxed, focused states and techniques like the shamanic journey, we can access the unconscious mind, receive guidance from spirit allies, and gain insight into ourselves. This process supports healing, personal growth, purpose, and transformation, helping us reclaim authenticity, meaning, and a deeper sense of wholeness.


This way of working can be supported either in a single session or in a block of 3 if wanting to work on something that requires more time and depth for the unfolding to happen.

The Shamanic Journey - What to Expect


A shamanic journey offers a deeply immersive experience that resembles a guided meditation initially, but after I lead you into the beginning of the journey, you then move into a space of self‑guidance, allowing your own unconscious and spirit guides to reveal what you need. 


We begin with a clear intention or question placed at the outset, which becomes the anchor for the journey.  Shamanic journeying takes you into distinct realms, each offering unique guidance. In the Lower World, you connect with intuition, instinct, and inner wisdom, often through power animals, ancestral helpers, or symbolic imagery that speaks directly to your feelings. The Upper World provides a wider perspective, offering clarity, guidance, and a sense of purpose, with insights that are philosophical, visionary, and deeply transformative. 


Together, these realms create a space for healing, self-discovery, and personal growth.


In a session, you can expect:

  • Clear setup: we specify your intention or question together, so the journey has a focussed theme.

  • Guided opening: I lead you into the journey (via drumming, voice, music, imagery) until you are oriented in one of the realms.

  • Self‑led exploration: You are invited to share your journey as it unfolds, with occasional gentle prompts from me if needed. Once in the journey space, you become the explorer, following imagery, spirit guides, sensations, and messages. Sharing in this way engages the creative, intuitive part of your brain rather than the analytical “thinking” mind, allowing deeper insight, guidance, and healing to arise from a place of inner knowing..

  • Return & integration: after exploration you come back to ordinary consciousness. Then we spend time together reflecting on what you experienced - what felt alive, what emerged, what is calling for further attention.

  • Application: I help you translate the wisdom or experience into how you might apply it in your life or healing process.
